The Heart and Vision Behind Violet Flame

From the outside, Violet Flame may look as though it brings together several different kinds of work.

There is Spiritual Life Coaching, Mediumship and Tarot Card Reading, Events, Cards and Crystals, and Wellness Experiences.

But I do not see these as five separate businesses competing for attention. I see them as five connected ways of supporting people.

Each one offers a different starting point, but they are all rooted in the same wider purpose: helping people reconnect with themselves, explore their spirituality, feel supported through change and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.

I have already shared more about how Violet Flame came into being in my previous blog, “More Than a Business: The Story Behind Violet Flame.” In this post, I want to look beyond the beginning and share more about the heart of the business, the values behind it and the vision I am gradually working towards.

Why Violet Flame Exists

At its heart, Violet Flame exists to create a safe and welcoming space for personal growth, spiritual exploration, connection and transformation.

Many of us reach points in our lives when we no longer feel entirely connected to ourselves.

Sometimes this happens during a major life change. Sometimes it develops gradually as we become focused on responsibilities, other people’s needs and everything we feel we should be doing.

We may know that something no longer feels right without knowing what needs to change. We may feel drawn towards spirituality but feel unsure about where to begin. We may want guidance while still wanting the freedom to make our own decisions.

I want Violet Flame to support people in those in-between spaces.

It is not about telling someone exactly who they should be, what they should believe or which path they must follow. It is about giving them space to pause, reflect, explore and listen more closely to themselves.

It is also about bringing spirituality into everyday life in a way that feels grounded and useful.

Spiritual growth does not always need to look dramatic. It can appear in the decision to set a boundary, trust your judgement, make time for yourself, question an old belief or take one small step towards something that feels more aligned.

Those quiet changes matter.

One Purpose, Five Connected Paths

The five arms of Violet Flame each offer something different, but they are connected by a shared focus on guidance, empowerment, wellbeing and community.

Someone may first discover Violet Flame through a card reading. Another person may attend an event, choose a crystal, take part in a wellness experience or feel ready for coaching.

There is no single correct way to being.

Spiritual Life Coaching

Spiritual Life Coaching creates space for deeper personal reflection alongside practical support.

It is for people who want to reconnect with themselves, understand what matters to them and make changes that feel more authentic and meaningful.

The spiritual element does not require someone to follow a particular religion or belief system. It allows room for their own values, intuition, sense of purpose and understanding of what gives their life meaning.

Coaching should not create dependence or place the coach in the role of having every answer. My role is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, offer support and help someone recognise their own insight and ability to move forward.

Mediumship and Tarot Card Reading

Mediumship and tarot offer different forms of connection, reflection and guidance.

A reading may bring comfort, reassurance or a different perspective on something a person is experiencing. It may also encourage them to pause and consider what they already know or feel beneath the noise around them.

This part of Violet Flame is especially important to approach with honesty and care.

I do not want spiritual guidance to feel frightening, controlling or overly dramatic. A reading should not take someone’s free will or suggest that their future is fixed.

People should leave feeling supported and empowered, not more anxious or dependent on somebody else’s interpretation.

I am continuing to develop this part of my work through training, practice and experience. It matters to me that it grows responsibly rather than being rushed.

Events

Events provide something that cannot always be recreated through an online post or individual appointment: the feeling of being with other people who share similar interests.

They can offer opportunities to learn, talk, experience something new and feel part of a wider community.

As this area develops, I would like Violet Flame events to include a mixture of workshops, circles, talks, spiritual gatherings and other welcoming experiences.

I want them to feel inclusive and relaxed rather than intimidating. People should also be able to arrive exactly as they are, whether they have been exploring spirituality for years or are simply curious about it.

Cards and Crystals

Cards and crystals can be meaningful tools for personal and spiritual practice.

A card deck can encourage reflection, help someone explore a question or become part of a quiet daily ritual. A crystal may represent an intention, provide a visual reminder or simply bring someone joy.

Through Violet Flame, I want to offer carefully chosen items and give people the freedom to decide what feels meaningful to them.

I do not want to make unrealistic promises about what a product can do. The value often comes from the intention, reflection and personal meaning someone connects with it.

This area also provides an accessible way for people to bring a little more spirituality into ordinary life.

Wellness Experiences

Wellness Experiences offer opportunities to slow down, receive some care and create space for rest.

At present, this include Temple Spa Experiences. Over time, I may introduce other forms of wellness support after completed the appropriate learning, training and preparation.

This part of Violet Flame is not based on the idea that one treatment, product or experience will solve everything.

It is about recognising that rest, care and enjoyment have value too.

For people who spend much of their time looking after others or managing numerous responsibilities, being given permission to pause can be meaningful in itself.

Who Violet Flame Is Here For

Violet Flame is for people who are drawn towards personal or spiritual growth but want it to feel grounded, respectful and relevant to real life.

It is for the person who feels as though they have lost touch with who they are.

It is for someone navigating change who wants space to think before deciding what comes next.

It is for those beginning to explore their spirituality, as well as people who have follow a spiritual path for many years.

It is for someone who wants guidance without being told what to do, and support without being made to feel powerless.

It is also for people who enjoy cards, crystals, readings, events, self-care and being part of a welcoming community.

Although much of my work naturally speaks to women who have spent years caring for others or placing themselves at the bottom of the list, Violet Flame is not about everyone having the same story.

People arrive with different experiences, beliefs, needs and reasons for being there.

What matters to me is that they feel welcomed, respected and able to be themselves.

How I Want Violet Flame to Feel

The way Violet Flame makes people feel is just as important to me as the individual services it provides.

I want someone to feel that they can ask a question without being made to feel foolish.

I want them to feel comfortable saying that something is not right for them.

I want spiritual ideas to be explained clearly rather than hidden behind confusing language.

I want honesty to matter more than appearing impressive.

I want people to be encouraged to trust their own judgement, rather than being expected to hand their power over to a coach, reader or practitioner.

Above all, I want Violet Flame to feel warm, calm and human.

Spiritual businesses can sometimes appear as though everyone involved has reached a perfect state of certainty, peace or enlightenment. That has never felt realistic to me.

We can be spiritually curious while still having doubts. We can be growing while still finding some things difficult. We can support other people without pretending that we have every part of our own lives completely worked out.

There should be room for that honesty.

Growing With Integrity

My vision for Violet Flame is ambitious, but I do not want ambition to come at the expense of of integrity.

Each part of the business will develop at its own pace.

Some areas can grow sooner, while others require further training, experience, insurance, planning or investment. I am comfortable acknowledging that because readiness matters more to me than rushing to offer everything at once.

I want people to trust that, when I introduce something new, I have thought carefully about how it will delivered and whether I am genuinely prepared to offer it.

Building gradually also allows me to learn from the people who connect with Violet Flame.

Their questions, experiences and needs can help shape the events, resources and services that develop in the future.

The vision provides the direction, but it does not mean every detail must be forced into place immediately.

The Future Vision for Violet Flame

In the future, I would love Violet Flame to become a trusted and recognisable spiritual business with a genuine community around it.

A significant part of that vision is eventually creating a physical Violet Flame space.

I imagine somewhere warm, peaceful and welcoming rather than overly formal or theatrical.

There could be a private area for coaching and readings, a carefully curated selection of cards and crystals, and a flexible space for workshops, circles and small gatherings.

Wellness experiences could take place there, alongside events led by Violet Flame and perhaps carefully chosen collaborations with other trusted practitioners.

It would be somewhere people could visit without feeling pressured to buy, book or prove how spiritual they are.

They could browse, ask questions, attend something that interests them or simply feel that they had found a place where they belonged.

The physical space is a long-term goal rather than something I am trying to force before the business is ready.

Before that stage, there is plenty to build: experience, relationships, trusted services, regular events, sustainable income and a stronger Violet Flame community.

I would rather create those foundations properly than rush towards the visible result.

For me, success is not simply having a premises, a full diary or a large audience. Those things may become part of the journey, but they are not the whole purpose.

Success would also mean building a business that remains ethical, financially sustainable and compatible with my real life.

It would mean being known for warmth, honesty and integrity.

It would mean creating experiences that people genuinely value and a community in which they feel comfortable returning.

The Heart Behind the Vision

The heart of Violet Flam is not one particular service.

It is the belief that spirituality can be meaningful without becoming disconnected from everyday life.

It is the belief that guidance should help someone recognise their own strength rather than make them feel that all the answers exist outside themselves.

And it is the belief that transformation can happen gradually.

It may begin through a conversation, a reading, a coaching question, an event, a card pulled during a quiet morning or the decision to take an hour for yourself.

Each step may look small from the outside, but it can still form part of something much bigger.

Violet Flame is still growing, and I am still learning what every part of the vision will eventually become.

I do not have every detail decided, but I am clear about the foundations I want to protect: compassion, integrity, empowerment, transformation and community.

That is what connects the five arms.

That is what I want people to experience when they encounter Violet Flame.

And that is the heart I want to carry into everything the business becomes.
